Business Simulator

Simulador de negocios

You take charge of a real-world-style business for 10 to 25 quarters. Each quarter you pick up to four decisions; stakeholders, competitors and STEEPLE events respond, and every number on the dashboard is one you will meet again in Paper 2. Play solo, or as a team with in-game voting. Nothing is graded: your runs are saved to your account for you, and the PDF report is yours to keep or to share if a teacher or tutor asks.

Designed and developed by Jorge Alberto Ramírez Ochoa. Best on a laptop or desktop; a full run takes 45 to 75 minutes. Company briefs, decisions and events are in English, the language of the exam; the interface and the report follow your language setting.

What a quarter looks like

Four decisions, then the world answers

Cuatro decisiones, y el mundo responde

Read the board's objectives

Each company starts with a briefing, a cash runway and three objectives for the early, mid and late game. Hitting them earns points; ignoring them costs you the ending.

Pick up to four moves

A curated feed of eight decisions each quarter, or the full library of 220 with filters. Every card shows gains, costs, risks and the opportunity cost of saying yes.

Watch stakeholders react

Eight groups, from employees to regulators, each with a mood that drives events. Neglect one for long enough and it will find a way to show up in the news.

Face the numbers

Cash, quarterly profit, net margin, ROCE, gearing and market share, computed the way the IB formulae sheet does. Bankruptcy, a hostile takeover and an acquisition are all possible endings.
